Due to the docile and sweet nature of the Spanish Horse, they are generally not castrated in their native Spain so finding good quality geldings is not always easy!!

However, as the UK are not especially familiar with the keeping of an entire horse and lifestyle often makes it difficult, we are often able to convince owners to let us castrate horses which are destined for the UK market.


Therefore, we will sometimes hold a small selection of ridden geldings at home in Cheltenham.  These are generally nice, all-round ridden types to suit a vast majority of riders and disciplines but not necessarily "world beaters" or high level prospects.

Again though, horses can be found and castrated on request and we will even offer to castrate horses on our premises (as we are now so familiar with the procedure!!!) and look after them during recovery before they go to their new homes.
